Buying used the bike of a pro at the end of the racing season is often a great way to get a terrific deal. Just last week, a Cérvelo R5 ridden by Cian Uijtdebroeks of Visma-Lease a Bike was auctioned off for less than US$5,000, an absolute steal for a high-end racing bike.

Budget-minded consumers looking for another deal might have been surprised, then, to see that Tadej Pogačar's Colnago Y1Rs sold for just a little bit more in a Sotheby's auction on Friday. When all was said and done, the four-time Tour winner's bike went for an eye-popping US$190,500.
