Stage type: Flat

What to expect: There is nary a categorized climb on the stage 13 profile. In fact, it’s about as flat a stage as you’ll see as a Grand Tour. Plus there’s a time trial the next day. Anything other than a big bunch sprint would be a surprise.

Fantasy favorites: If you’ve been saving a Jonathan Milan pick for a clear sprint opportunity, you might as well bring him out now. Based on everything we have seen so far, Milan is the favorite here with Tim Merlier as the next likeliest contender and Kaden Groves in a more distant third. It’s hard to imagine the winner not being one of those three riders but Phil Bauhaus, Juan SebastiΓ‘n Molano, Alberto Dainese, and Caleb Ewan are the dark horses.
