Unbound 2024 gallery: Records fall at the world’s biggest gravel race

A whole bunch of great photos from a massive day out.

Gravel races don’t come much bigger than Unbound. Not just in length – 200 miles (320 km) for the flagship distance – but in reputation and significance to those within the gravel scene.

This past weekend, the best gravel racers in the world converged on Emporia, Kansas, USA for the latest edition of an event that started back in 2006 with just 34 participants. Nowadays, Unbound attracts north of 4,000 riders for one of the toughest day’s racing in the world, in any discipline.

To find out how the elite men’s and women’s races unfolded, be sure to check out Ryan Simonovich’s report here at Escape.
