Cort claims Danish road title 24 hours after announcing retirement
Magnus Cort announced that he will retire at the end of 2026 on Saturday, the eve of his last ever National Championship road race, a title that has eluded him in 10 past appearances since 2012 – until now.
The 33-year-old Dane had the support of a strong seven-rider Uno-X Mobility lineup in winning the national title from a reduced bunch srpint, including Anthon Charmig who finished third. Both are set to start the Tour de France next week.
Splitting the teammates was Anders Foldager of Jayco-AlUla.
