Paula Blasi will leave UAE Team ADQ early to race for Movistar from 2027

Paula Blasi has signed a contract that will see her move from UAE Team ADQ a year early to race in Movistar colours from 2027. Wielerflits reports that multiple sources have confirmed the news to them, and that Blasi will earn a little under a million euros per year, putting the Vuelta winner among the highest paid pro women in cycling.

The Spaniard's arrival at Movistar will further elevate the Spanish WorldTeam's status, as Blasi lines up alongside recent Tour de Suisse winner Marlen Reusser, veteran Liane Lippert, and fellow young talent Cat Ferguson. With reports of Mireia Benito, now four-time Spanish national ITT champion, also heading to Movistar for 2027, the Spanish team will be a force to be reckoned with.

Paula Blasi is causing a market frenzy
The Vuelta winner is currently signed to UAE Team ADQ through 2027, but a clause in her contract could see her move teams next year.
