Giant Factory Off-Road Team has been rolling around on two new full-suspension XC race bikes in Val Di Sole, Italy, this week in advance of the weekend's World Cup short track and XC races. One is a hand-welded aluminum prototype seen with one of the team coaches, and the other appears to be a production-ready carbon fiber frame that a few of the team's athletes will be riding.

We spotted Alan Hatherly's bike in Giant's booth and were able to briefly remove it from the stand for documentation. In typical fashion with unreleased products, the team mechanics couldn't tell us anything about the bike, but did acknowledge that this is not an updated Anthem, but a new model. It's also built with some unreleased components. Here's what we do know...
