Well, well, well, how the turn tables (IYKYK). The UCI have ended their week of turbulence with egg on their face after "the most dangerous race of the year" (according to a rider within the peloton) at the Copenhagen Sprint.
It's HoweGood's week on the keyboard. Lots to talk about with this one. You know what to do. Buckle up, let's get into it.
Race recaps
Copenhagen Sprint
I find it wholly ironic that the major news and discussion last week was the UCI's new equipment rules, made in an effort to increase safety in the peloton, only for the inaugural Copenhagen Sprint (151 km, mostly flat) in Denmark to be marred by issues caused by imperatives other than equipment.
