After suffering through many montages and overtures from the pandering and grateful officials who were granted the opportunity to speak at the 2026 Tour de France route presentation in Paris, we finally learned the roads the riders will be suffering on next July.

Leaked online moments before the official unveiling, rumours of two summit finishes atop Alpe d'Huez were confirmed, with stages 19 and 20 heading up the famous Alpine switchbacks, which race organisers hope will retain the suspense of the yellow jersey battle until the very end.
