Marcus Enno, better known as Beardy McBeard, is a friendly face to many. His work as a professional photographer has helped to spread the emotion, entertainment, and sheer beauty of cycling. And perhaps more endearing is that so many of his racing images have been captured while riding the routes and stages.
Unfortunately, the sport we all love can be a dangerous one. Over the weekend, Beardy was out doing what he loves and all was well until a car appeared where it shouldn’t.
The good news is that he’s stable and conscious. The bad news is that there’s a hard road ahead before Beardy will be back on a bike or bringing in income through the shutter button.
