As the biggest gravel race in the US, Unbound is always a key spot for brands to announce or tease upcoming releases. Last week saw the official unveiling of Specialized's new fifth-generation Crux, which was ridden to resounding success in both the men's and women's 200-mile events. Robin Gemperle raced a 32" Scott prototype to a dominant win in the 350-mile XL. And several other brands offered advanced looks at bikes that are yet to launch.

Put Giant's new Revolt in the latter category. The brand hasn't officially introduced the new bike yet but did have it present in the expo and under riders like Tessa Neefjes (riding the Liv Devote women's version) in the race. Giant's director of product John Munhall offered a brief rundown of the new bike. Not all details are available yet, but here's what we know so far.
