Lotto-Intermarché and performance manager Aike Visbeek have 'mutually agreed' to part ways
Lotto-Intermarché has announced that longtime performance manager Aike Visbeek is leaving the team "with immediate effect" in a decision that was "mutually agreed" upon by both parties.
After coming over from the Sunweb team now called Picnic-Post-NL, Visbeek spent five years with Intermarché-Wanty and remained part of the organization after the merger that formed Lotto-Intermarché.
"Together with a strong and dedicated performance team, he has helped build an organization that provides a solid foundation for the future," said Lotto-Intermarché general manager Jean-François Bourlart. "I will always remember the great achievements we shared such as Gent-Wevelgem, as well as the Tour de France stage wins and the Green Jersey or most recently our victory at Eschborn-Frankfurt in May."
