Philipsen wins Copenhagen Sprint
A crash in the penultimate lap of the Copenhagen Sprint split the peloton that was yet to catch the breakaway, but Alpecin-Premier Tech was relatively unfazed, and in the reduced bunch sprint that followed, Jasper Philipsen took victory.
Decathlon-CMA CGM was well-represented in the front split, and delivered Tobias Lund Andresen to a runner-up finish ahead of Netcompany-Ineos sprinter Sam Welsford.
The crash distanced big names Dylan Groenewegen and Tim Merlier, who finished in a group 20 seconds down after an unsuccessful chase.
