Old Fall River Road rises away from the camera. The dirt road is steeply pitched, with a 20-foot tall grey wooden pole on the left side as a marker for plows in spring. Ahead, the Trail Ridge visitor center sits perched high above on a ridgeline crested with a snowy cornice.
