TdF free-to-air highlights will be on 5 in the UK
The 2026 Tour de France is the first edition in decades not to be shown live free-to-air in the UK after ITV's contract expired after the 2025 race. Rights shifted to TNT Sports, an over-the-top subscription streaming service. But TNT announced Wednesday that a daily highlights package will be available free-to-air on 5, formerly the terrestrial Channel 5.
The highlights package will air at 7PM local time daily starting July 4, and 5's coverage will encompass both the men's and women's Tour de France. Past that, race fans will also enjoy daily highlights packages for the Vuelta a España and Giro d'Italia in a deal that runs through the 2029 Giro d'Italia.
