YT Industries USA has announced it is closing, marking what appears to be the final shuttering of the brand's remaining operations. The move comes roughly a month after YT's European business laid off most of its staff following an unsuccessful search for new financing.

In a statement, YT Industries USA said it had "not been able to reach an agreement on future operations" with YT Industries Germany. "As a result, YT Industries USA will be closing its business," the company wrote, thanking employees, riders, partners, and customers for eight years in North America.
