A month after the brand halted operations in Europe, YT’s US branch will close, too.

YT Industries USA has announced it is closing, marking what appears to be the final shuttering of the brand's remaining operations. The move comes roughly a month after YT's European business laid off most of its staff following an unsuccessful search for new financing.

In a statement, YT Industries USA said it had "not been able to reach an agreement on future operations" with YT Industries Germany. "As a result, YT Industries USA will be closing its business," the company wrote, thanking employees, riders, partners, and customers for eight years in North America.
