Anti-doping authorities conducted unannounced doping controls for Jonas Vingegaard and Tadej Pogačar early Sunday morning, disrupting the sleep of the Tour de France's leading duo.
Vingegaard was tested first, around 2 am, and testers arrived at Tadej Pogačar's door at 5 am. Both riders confirmed the tests and timing in the Tour's mixed zone prior to Sunday's major mountain stage.
Other top riders, including Remco Evenepoel, Paul Seixas, and Isaac Del Toro were not tested in the overnight window.
