Eurobike shelves standalone 2026 Mobifuture show after industry pushback

The organisers have addressed one of many sticking points that led to major partners leaving the Frankfurt trade show.

Eurobike

Eurobike has dropped plans to run its new e-micromobility spin-off, Mobifuture, as a separate, co-located show in 2026, saying "key market participants" want more clarity on the concept. The main fair will go ahead in Frankfurt on 24–27 June 2026, with future-mobility products remaining under the Eurobike umbrella.

The move follows a turbulent fortnight for show organiser Fairnamic. In late October, Germany's industry bodies ZIV and Zukunft Fahrrad withdrew their co-operation after Fairnamic failed to act on a jointly developed 10-point reform plan. Bosch eBike Systems then said it would skip Eurobike 2026, while Shimano's German distributor, Paul Lange & Co, remains undecided.
