What to expect: Three weeks of Grand Tour racing will come to an end in the Italian capital. After a quick trip to the seaside and back, the peloton will do eight laps on a finishing circuit in Rome. The sprinters will get one last shot at a win before the pink jersey celebrates the overall victory at the line.

Fantasy favorites: Jonathan Milan or Tim Merlier? Milan is the slight favorite; he has the slight edge in stage wins and he probably has the most top-end speed, but Merlier has played the positioning game well and can absolutely win here. Behind those two favorites, Kaden Groves is probably the only other rider for whom a stage win wouldn’t be a big surprise. Other fringe contenders include Juan SebastiΓ‘n Molano, Alberto Dainese, Caleb Ewan, Fernando Gaviria, and Stanislaw Aniolkowski.
