Pinarello-Q36.5 is reportedly interested in Paul Seixas
Daniel Benson reports on his Substack that Pinarello-Q36.5 has joined the battle to acquire Paul Seixas when the French star's contract with Decathlon-CMA CGM ends in 2027.
According to Benson, Pinarello-Q36.5 is willing to pay the 19-year-old the enormous sum of €13 million a year, which would make him significantly more highly paid than Tadej Pogačar, whose own UAE Team Emirates-XRG is also rumored to be interested in signing Seixas. Whether Seixas ever actually ends up on the open market or instead renews with Decathlon remains to be seen; at present, his contract would expire at the same time as that of Pinarello's current GC leader Tom Pidcock, who is also signed through 2027.
