Rohan Dennis must return to court after being caught driving without a license

As the ABC reports, former world time trial champion Rohan Dennis was stopped by police on Thursday when he was seen behind the wheel of a car despite having been banned from driving in the aftermath of the death of his wife Melissa Hoskins.

Dennis told a court in 2024 that the two had been arguing and then he had begun to drive away when Hoskins jumped onto the car and then fell under it. Dennis pled guilty to "committing an aggravated act likely to cause harm" in a plea deal that gave him a suspended prison sentence and stripped him of driving privileges until 2028.

According to the ABC, South Australia police saw Dennis behind the wheel of a car with two passengers on Thursday afternoon and stopped him, ultimately impounding his vehicle. Dennis will now be summoned to appear in court. [ABC]
