Aero sensor start-up Body Rocket heads for liquidation
British aero sensor start-up Body Rocket is selling its assets and preparing for liquidation, founder Eric DeGolier has told Cycling Weekly.
The Brighton, UK-based company, which was founded in 2018, became known for developing a real-time drag measurement system around power meter pedals and air speed sensors. It raised more than £250,000 in crowdfunding in 2020 and opened pre-orders four years later, with the system priced at around £3,000 – though it never reached full commercial availability.

In its latest accounts ending 31 August 2025, the company was £312,379 in the red. Now, the company has reportedly run out of funding, and its assets, including patents and trademarks, are being sold by auctioneers with offers open until 18 June.
