Žigart suffers jaw fracture in Tour de Suisse crash
Urška Žigart (AG Insurance-Soudal) was hospitalized after a crash at the Tour de Suisse left her with a broken jaw.
The 29-year-old Slovenian went down hard on an uneven road surface just a few meters short of the finish of stage 2. She remained on the ground for a few moments before being tended to by medical personnel, and was then taken to a nearby hospital. AG Insurance-Soudal said afterward that "she is being monitored for a possible concussion."
